Okay, I haven't updated the blog in FOREVER so I thought I should try to do something today. I should start with our trip to Disneyland. It was great! We left at 3:30 in the morning so we can be Vegas for breakfast. Yum, we ate at Mandalay bay. We walked around a couple of casinos so the kids could get out some energy. Emily thought Excalibur looked like a princess castle. Then back in the car. Just outside of Prim there was horrible traffic and... Maycie got car sick. We turned on the Ac for some fresh air to blow on her but it was too late. Good thing I had a big Ziploc bag! The traffic was still driving at a snails pace and Maycie couldn't keep it back there with her so I took a deep breath closed my eyes and put it on the floor by my feet. Dwayne told me throw it out the window. I told him I needed a minute of deep breathing or else I would be joining her. Dwayne told me to roll down the window and grabbed the bag and threw it out. well just the mental picture was enough for me and unfortunately our snails pace picked up when I leaned out the window.Down the side of the car...good thing it rained 3 of the 4 days we were in Cali. The rest of the drive was uneventful. Our first day at Disneyland it rained like crazy for the first 3 hours then it cleared off. I am so glad we brought our winter coats. The best part was we hardly ever waited in a line. Most rides we walked right up and got on or only had a couple minutes wait. Besides having so much fun at Disneyland they also had fun at the hotel... Dwayne taught them to jump on the beds! they had a blast jumping back and forth. I'm just glad they aren't doing it at home.Tyson told me "Dad said we can only jump at Hotels", I hope that sticks. We spent the next day at California Adventures, The older kids rode every ride while the little ones REALLY loved the toy story ride. I think we rode it 4 or 5 times. Andrews favorite was tower of terror and Maycie's favorite is splash mountain. I know there are more favorites but I can't remember what they are. On Christmas eve we went back to the park to see the fireworks, they were amazing. Christmas day we spent at both parks doing whatever we felt like. Maycie and Andrew had a lot of fun when we went to the Disney strip mall. Maycie went to Libby Lu's and Andrew went to the Lego store. Both were very happy with what they received for Christmas. The trip home took longer than we expected since a snow storm had came through and the kids were very anxious to get home and see what Santa brought. Good thing I bought Dramamine for the drive home... Maycie had a great sleep. We had such a great time. We already want to go back.
I will post the pics as soon as I figure out when they were saved to the computer at.

How fun! I am still jealous! I'm glad that you finally posted something too! I haven't seen you on Facebook for a long time either!
Sounds like fun, especially the car sickness! It just makes me laugh thinking about the whole situation.
